Pediatric & Clinical Care
Clinical experience in pediatric acute care settings, including ICU, emergency, and perioperative environments
Familiarity with hospital-based documentation, standards of care, and interdisciplinary clinical workflows
Review of medical records for consistency, completeness, and alignment with reported events or treatment plans
Analysis of injury mechanisms and whether clinical findings are consistent with documented history
Evaluation of wound care, surgical intervention, and rehabilitation documentation in the context of overall case narratives
Identification of gaps, inconsistencies, or documentation failures that may affect credibility or case strength
Behavioral & Developmental Health
Extensive experience working with youth in residential and school-based mental health settings
Direct familiarity with how behavioral plans, intervention data, and treatment records are developed and documented in practice
Analysis of whether behavioral and developmental documentation supports the services outlined in IEPs and 504 Plans
Evaluation of data integrity, consistency of reporting, and alignment between documented interventions and outcomes
Identification of gaps or inconsistencies in behavioral records that may affect credibility or defensibility in a case
Understanding of how psychiatric, developmental, and behavioral conditions impact access to education under IDEA and FAPE
School Health & Educational Medicine
More than 15 years of experience as a Massachusetts public school nurse, including leadership as an elementary nurse coordinator
Direct knowledge of how IEPs, 504 Plans, and IHCPs are developed, implemented, and documented in practice
Analysis of whether school health documentation supports the services a district claims to provide
Evaluation of how medical and behavioral conditions affect a student’s access to education under FAPE
Experience with complex student populations, including chronic medical conditions, developmental disorders, and behavioral health needs
Identification of documentation gaps, delegation issues, and record inconsistencies that may affect defensibility in a hearing
Familiarity with FERPA/HIPAA boundaries, school nursing workflows, and real-world documentation practices
